SINGALILA JUNGLE HUT
SINGALILA JUNGLE HUT
One of the most beautiful and bio-diverse
wildlife destinations in the Eastern Himalayas, located
in the fringes of the Singalila National Park lies the lodge which is spread
across 9 acres of lush forests with no hustle and bustle. The rooms are made in
traditional Nepalese style with attached bathrooms. The Homestay looks out to a
spectacular view of Rimbick and the Singalila National Park.
The rooms are fully
furnished and a few of the rooms have fireplaces to keep u warm during the
winters. We have an organic kitchen garden to supplement the requirements of
the lodge.
It is a haven for bird watchers because there
are 169 species found in the area and The
ridge forms a border between Sikkim and Nepal, and at certain points within
Singalila National Park, affords some of the best views of a few of the world’s
highest peaks. The varied vegetation harbours a correspondingly diverse range
of fauna, especially avifauna.
One of
Singalila’s claims to fame is the fact that it was the first site in India
where the reintroduction of the red panda was attempted.
