THE VILLAGE RESORT, SINGTHAM

Your Den Awaits in the Woods

Imagine a cottage atop a hillock. A rivulet kissing the dense jungles and the sound of running water coupled with chirruping of birds wakes you up on a foggy morning. Let’s be honest, we have all dreamt of living in such a serene setting. Haven’t we?

Well, dreams do come true! Through our new find, The Den, we endeavour to bring you the closest to this experience. We care for your personal space. And in a bid to ensure a home-like-stay, we offer personal kitchens, a cottage all to you, and a luxurious dining space for your family. Cooking is a culinary ecstasy, not a compulsion though.  We also have a full-fledged restaurant to offer you cuisines from around the world, prepared with a dash of love. Yes, we saw that sigh of relief coming, ladies (pun intended).

Located in the countryside of East Sikkim, The Den is your ticket to the awe-inspiring view of the Fambongla  forest on one side and the majestic Nathula range on the other. At the altitude of 1547 meters above sea level, this is one of the few places in India where you can find clouds outside your windowpane (not exaggerating).

But what’s the point of living in the woods if packaged food transported from the cities is what you get to have? To make this experience more realistic and meaningful, they will prepare your meals with organic veggies grown in the neighboring villages. You may also pluck veggies of your choice from the kitchen garden and let us prepare them for you.

Vacationing is incomplete without some sinful pampering, and we do understand your indulgence needs.  Try our exotic collection of scotches and ales at the bar in the evening and replenish yourself at the poolside. Let our massagers relieve you off your fatigue from the daily hustle bustle of urban life and follow it up with a sauna bath to detox your body.

While you enjoy the trip, your kids will have plenty to learn from an excursion trip especially organized to give them a glimpse of Sikkim’s topography, vegetation and farming culture, a rarity in the urban habitat.
